Doria has been painting ever since she could remember. From the beginning, she primarily focuses on nature, figures, and portraiture. She picked up oil paint in art school, and never put it down. It's a perfect match. She is the Gallery Director for G Gallery in the Heights, and an executive editor for, artists and writers magazine. She runs a farmers market and is a baker. Of course, food and art naturally belong together. For Doria, one of the most appealing aspects of art is how dialogue and events can be centered around it. Art, for her, has been my lifelong compass. She has been an artist for Houston Via Colori since year one. She looks forward to seeing everyone because she makes so many new friends. She was born hearing impaired and had her situation corrected at a young age, through the use of technology. This is a great even and a fantastic game changer for a lot of young people.
