Professionals at CHS are committed to helping children with hearing loss reach their full potential by teaching them to listen, speak and read. In today's Staff Spotlight, we're catching up with one of our audiologists, Dr. Megan Marsh!

What is your official job title?



Describe your role at CHS.

I complete hearing tests on children. If children have hearing loss I see them to fit hearing aids, osseointegrated devices, and cochlear implants. The best part of the job is when I am part of a child’s first time to hear their parents clearly.


How long have you worked at CHS?

Almost 2 years.


Where are you from?

I grew up in Cypress, TX and was a student from elementary school through high school in Cy-Fair ISD. Go Cy-Fair Bobcats!!


What is your favorite thing to do in Houston?

I like going to sporting events, going to see the Broadway shows at the Hobby Center, and hanging out with family and friends.


What is your favorite restaurant in Houston?

Underbelly-so good!! Also, Lupes!! I missed my yummy Tex-Mex when I was living in Oklahoma.


If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I would want to travel all over Europe: Greece, Italy, Switzerland, France. However, Colorado is my happy place.


If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would be the first thing you would buy?

I would pay off my student loans!!! I owe the University of Oklahoma some money but BOOMER SOONER!!!

What is your dream job?

Flipping houses with my sister-in-law. We need to learn how to do that first, but it sounds like a blast!!


What is the best book you have ever read?

Harry Potter!!
