What is your official job title?

Development Associate

Describe your role at CHS.

Working on volunteer engagement and recruitment, annual giving, events and managing our donor database.

How long have you worked at CHS?

Just a few days, I am brand new! My first day was actually on my birthday (Jan. 31)!

Where are you from?

Let's see… I was born in Boston, moved to North Carolina when I was 1, then moved to Minnesota when I was 4. The past 5 years I have been living in Charleston, South Carolina. So, I guess I would say I am Minnesota raised and a Houston transplant from Charleston!

What is your favorite thing to do in Houston?

I recently moved to Houston, so I do not have a favorite thing to do here yet. I am still exploring and learning the city. Open to suggestions on things to do!

What is your favorite restaurant in Houston?

Anywhere that has outdoor seating and lets me bring my doggies!! (:

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Greece. I have always wanted to stay in Santorini in one of the little white cliff side homes where you have to ride a donkey up the cliffs to get to!

If you won the lottery tomorrow, what would be the first thing you would buy?

A couple acres of land where I can build a house, have lots of gardening space and plenty of room for my dogs to run around.

What three words describe you?

Quirky, Empathetic , Adaptable

What is your dream job?

Fancy Cheese Taster, I love cheese!

What is the best book you have ever read?

I think still to this day it would have to be one of my childhood favorites, Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola. Great illustrations and wonderful story line. Who wouldn’t want their city to be almost flooded with pasta!?

I’m happiest when:

I am gardening, eating delicious food and playing with our two sweet dogs.
