Delta Zeta of the University of Houston have been amazing volunteers of the Center since 2000. Because their national philanthropy is speech and hearing, they feel so incredibly lucky to have the Center here in Houston so they can make a real impact.

Once a week, Delta Zeta volunteers with our Melinda Webb School students to help in the classroom and during recess. They love spending time with the children here at the Center. They volunteer their time and efforts during our annual events such as our gala and picnic which they love doing because of all the new people they have met and all the different activities they have gotten to do. The Center is also fortunate enough to have had 6 Delta Zeta's intern over the last few years.

"Our chapter takes pride in our willingness to help others. We locally support the Center for Hearing and Speech, which is conveniently located in Houston. We are so fortunate to spend every Valentine's Day with the children at The Center, and enjoy taking part in their yearly picnic."

Fun Fact: Delta Zeta was founded in 1902 at Miami University.
