September was a busy month for CHS volunteers!
We were lucky enough to have two awesome ExxonMobil groups partner with us to do their United Way Day of Caring project. United Way Days of Caring give employees a chance to volunteer together at charities in the community. According to United Way, last year, more than 10,500 volunteers gave their time and talent to better the community through more than 1,400 United Way Day of Caring projects.
On September 16, our first group of ExxonMobil volunteers organized our Via Colori Storage Shed, re-painted our playground race track and classroom doors, painted the mural on our playground, and assembled 1,000 Hearing Wheels!
On September 23, our second group of Exxon volunteers helped us get ready for Via Colori by preparing chalk kits for our Via Colori Artists.
We love getting to partner with such talented and caring volunteers and we're appreciative of United Way of Greater Houston for providing this opportunity!
Check out some photos from both volunteer days.
