Noami Foster – Aurora CO
|
Artist Noami Foster has lived in Denver for more than 10 years now. In 1989, she began attending Western State College in Gunnison, CO to pursue her passion for art and in 1993 she received her BA in Commercial Art. It was this experience that opened doors to art galleries, exhibits, festivals and private showings. After 4 years of being a part of the art industry in Colorado Springs, Noami made a move that would take her down a different path. For 10 years Noami dedicated her life to serving in the ministry. From teaching art classes for elementary/middle school children to being a youth leader and mentor to several women, Noami focused her time and talents on helping people find their purpose which brought healing to much of their lives. But Noami began to feel a strong desire to return to the art industry and follow her own purpose in life so in 2003 she returned to school by attending Colorado Technical University and received her 2nd degree, graduating Cum Laude, Bachelor of Science in Visual Communications. Noami began street painting the summer of 2008 for the first time ever and fell in love with the creative process and the interaction with the people who attended the festival. Noami now travels the United States participating in several different street painting festivals. This will be Noami’s fourth year to participate at Houston Via Colori.
