Betty Dominguez, was born in Barranquilla, Colombia and currently resides in Coral Springs, FL. Betty graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in painting. Betty is able to paint and chalk any subject matter that is presented to her but when it comes to her personal choice she focuses on her interpretations of comic characters and Alphonse Mucha’s work. Her influences and style of painting/chalking are pop art, graphic art and street art. Betty’s aim is to stimulate viewers instantly, visually, emotionally and mentally in any way possible and to communicate her narrative interpretations with simplicity, color and concept.
