Project T.A.L.K.

Project T.A.L.K. is a summer camp for children ages 4-10 with hearing loss. The Center for Hearing and Speech created Project T.A.L.K. to enable hearing-impaired children to achieve the following goals:

  • To increase conversational and social confidence through fun activities
  • To provide the opportunity for young hearing-impaired children to orally interact with other kids and adults
  • To facilitate the development of long-term friendships
  • To develop early teamwork and leadership skills
  • To provide opportunities to enhance listening skills in a relaxed environment

The cost of Project T.A.L.K. is $195, which includes snacks, daily speech-language intervention, a camp T-shirt and materials. There is a $65 RSVP/registration fee.
