CHS also hosts a Parent Support Group that is open to anyone in the community whose family has been affected by hearing loss. Your child does not need to be a current CHS client or student in order to attend our Parent Support Group meetings.

Facilitated by our Director of Family Services, the group meets several Saturday and Sundays throughout the year to discuss issues that are important to parents of children with hearing impairments. A knowledgeable speaker is featured at the meetings, where parents are encouraged to participate. Many times, alumni will visit with parents to answer questions and give encouragement. Please check back for meeting dates if you are interested in attending a Parent Support Group session.
