The pastels have been washed away, the entertainment stage dismantled and the flagstands packed up. The 2008 Via ColoriÒ Street Painting Festival is now a beautiful memory for thousands of Houstonians. We appreciate the support of 175 artists, 150 sponsors and 300 volunteers – your help contributed to our enormous success.
The Center would also like to thank the professional photographers and talented hobbyists that attended the festival and captured the spirit of Via Colori. Photos, videos and press coverage will also be added to the HoustonViaColori website in the coming months.
As we prepare for next year’s event, scheduled for November 21 and 22, we hope that we can count on your support again when we return to the streets in pursuit of art. Together we are painting a brighter future for children with hearing loss.
