Project T.A.L.K. (Talking and Listening for Kids) began at CHS in 2008. Project T.A.L.K. is a week-long summer camp for children ages 4-10 with hearing loss. Project T.A.L. K. is the only program of its kind in the region.

The camp aims to teach important life lessons to children with hearing loss and foster friendships in an informal listening and speaking environment. The Center also partners with local universities to provide a hands-on training program for graduate students in the SLP field.

Our wonderful Speech Team coordinates the week-long camp for more than 40 campers every year, with the help of our Audiologists and a great group of volunteers.

Project T.A.L.K. would not be possible without the support of the Houston Scottish Rite Masons, who generously fund the event each year.

Project T.A.L.K. 2018 will be held July 16 - 20. Registration for the camp will begin February 1, 2018.
