Norwood received her Master’s of Science in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Dallas and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining The Center for Hearing and Speech, she worked with both children and adults in various settings: public school, private practice, outpatient pediatric rehab and a private school for children with language and learning differences. Norwood has attended a variety of courses pertaining to Auditory-Verbal Therapy, and she is currently studying to become a certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist. Her CHS responsibilities include providing auditory based speech-language therapy, acting as a liaison between CHS and universities, and supervising graduate student interns.
