Pediatric Audiologist, CHS Cochlear Implant Team Coordinator

Dr. Mendrygal came to The Center for Hearing and Speech from the House Ear Institute CARE Center in Los Angeles, CA, where she had completed her graduate externship and served as a full-time pediatric audiologist. Dr. Mendrygal received her Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Texas at Dallas, where she also specialized in Pediatric Aural Habilitation. With extensive training and experience in diagnostics, hearing aids and cochlear implants, Dr. Mendrygal is able to effectively serve a broad range of patients, as she also is fluent in Spanish and has conversational fluency in sign language. At CHS, Dr. Mendrygal performs diagnostic hearing testing for children birth through 18 years of age, hearing aid selection, fitting and management, and cochlear implant evaluation and mapping. In addition to her clinic services, Dr. Mendrygal also serves as the Cochlear Implant Team Coordinator.
