Audiology Assistant, Accountant
Betancur is the Audiology Clinic Assistant and accountant. She joined The Center for Hearing and Speech in 1997. Betancur obtained a Bachelor degree in Business Administration in her native country of Colombia. Every day, she is called upon to use her expertise in assisting the audiologists in testing children for hearing loss. Betancur is fluent in Spanish and often helps elp with written and oral translations. She also provides hearing and vision screening services at the CHS and in the community. Betancur is responsible for making sure The Melinda Webb School FM equipment is in proper working order and she also oversees the maintenance and repair of hearing aid equipment, FM systems and assistive listening devices.
