Hanna Dickson

Dickson graduated from the University of Houston with a Masters degree in Communication Disorders. She became interested in the hearing impaired population while completing an internship at The Center for Hearing and Speech during her graduate work. After completing her internship, she worked as a teacher’s assistant at CHS’ The Melinda Webb School, where she gained experience in education for children with hearing loss. Dickson has almost completed her training to become a certified in Auditory-Verbal Therapy. She has attended multiple workshops pertaining to the Auditory-Verbal approach, including a two week hands-on program at the Alabama Ear Institute in Birmingham. Hanna has also presented on the topic of bilateral cochlear implantation at the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s annual convention. At CHS, Hanna is responsible for clinical practice and serves as a member of the Cochlear Implant Team.
