Jill Cassidy

Cassidy has been working with children with special needs since 1993. She began been working as a speech-language teacher at The Center for Hearing and Speech in 2004. Cassidy received her Bachelors of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Stephen F. Austin State University and her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of North Texas. She holds a teaching certificate in Speech and Language Therapy and is a certified Parent Advisor through the SKI-Hi program.  Cassidy also has received extensive training on cochlear implants, hearing aids and working with children with hearing impairments, including training from the Alexander Graham Bell Association and The Moog Center for Deaf Education. Her responsibilities at CHS include providing intense auditory, speech and language instruction to students and educating parents through conferences, observations and meetings.
